Terms & Conditions – The Walled Garden Touring Park

These Terms & Conditions ensure a safe, peaceful and enjoyable stay for all guests. By booking a pitch at The Walled Garden Touring Park, you agree to the following:

  1. Adults-Only Park

The Walled Garden Touring Park is strictly 18+. No children or under-18s are permitted on site, including visitors.

  1. Booking & Payment
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • All payments are non-refundable.
  • Bookings are non-transferable without prior agreement.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a booking at our discretion.
  1. Arrival & Departure
  • Check-in: 1pm – 5pm
  • Late arrivals (5pm–8pm): By prior arrangement only. A £10 late check-in surcharge applies.
  • No arrivals after 8pm, except in exceptional circumstances agreed in advance.
  • Check-out: By 11am on the day of departure.

Late departures may incur an additional fee.

  1. Pitch Use
  • Guests must use the pitch allocated to them.
  • Only one unit per pitch (caravan, motorhome, campervan, tent or roof tent).
  • All units must be kept within the pitch boundaries.
  • Ground protection must be used under awnings.
  1. Vehicles & Speed Limit
  • The site speed limit is 5mph.
  • Only one vehicle per pitch unless agreed otherwise.
  • No vehicle movement is permitted after 10pm except in emergencies.
  1. Noise & Behaviour

To maintain our tranquil atmosphere:

  • Quiet hours are 10pm – 8am.
  • Please be considerate of other guests at all times.
  • Anti-social behaviour, excessive noise or disturbance will result in removal from the park without refund.
  1. Dogs

We are a dog-friendly park.

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times within the park.
  • Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended on site.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any dog deemed unsuitable for a quiet touring environment.

  1. Facilities

Guests have access to:

  • Toilets and showers
  • Communal laundry room
  • Kitchen area (kettle, toaster, microwave, air fryer, fridge freezer)
  • Dish-washing area
  • Chemical waste disposal

Please leave all facilities clean and tidy after use.

  1. Fires, BBQs & Safety
  • Fire pits are not permitted anywhere on site.
  • Open fires are not permitted.
  • Raised, off-ground BBQs are allowed and must be attended at all times.
  • The use of generators is not permitted.
  1. Visitors

Visitors are welcome by prior arrangement only and must be over 18. All visitors must report to reception on arrival and leave by 9pm.

  1. Liability

The Walled Garden Touring Park accepts no responsibility for:

  • Loss, theft or damage to personal property
  • Injury or accidents caused by guest negligence
  • Weather-related damage to tents, awnings or equipment

Guests are responsible for securing their belongings and ensuring their own safety.

  1. Cancellations & Refunds
  • All payments are non-refundable, regardless of reason.
  • No refunds are given for early departure, poor weather or failure to adhere to park rules.
  • Date changes may be offered at our discretion but are not guaranteed.
  1. Management Rights

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse admission
  • Remove guests who breach these Terms & Conditions
  • Close areas of the park for maintenance or safety reasons
  • Amend these Terms & Conditions at any time

 

Touring Caravan Hire – Terms & Conditions

  1. Booking & Payment

A £100 security deposit is payable at the time of booking.

The security deposit is held until departure and will be refunded within 24 hours, provided no damage, loss, or excessive cleaning is required.

Full payment for the hire must be made prior to arrival unless otherwise agreed.

 

  1. Arrival & Departure

Check‑in from 1pm and check‑out 11am.

Guests must vacate the caravan on time to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next hire.

 

  1. Use of the Caravan

The caravan is hired for adults only, in line with The Walled Garden Touring Park’s policy.

Maximum occupancy limit (max 4 adults) must be respected.

Guests must use the caravan and its equipment responsibly and report any damage or faults immediately.

No candles or naked flames to be used inside the caravan.

 

  1. What’s Included

The caravan comes fully equipped with kitchenware, appliances, seating/dining area, shower, toilet, and essential items for your stay.

Guests must bring their own bedding, pillows, and towels.

 

  1. Damage, Loss & Cleaning

Any damage, breakages, or missing items may result in deductions from the security deposit.

Excessive mess or failure to leave the caravan in a reasonable condition may also incur charges.

If damages exceed the £100 deposit, guests may be liable for additional costs.

 

  1. Smoking, Vaping & Pets

Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the caravan.

No pets allowed.

 

  1. Behaviour & Noise

As an adults‑only, tranquil park, guests must respect the peaceful environment.

Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or breach of park rules may result in termination of the stay without refund.

 

  1. Liability

The Walled Garden Touring Park is not responsible for loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings.

Guests are responsible for ensuring the caravan is secure when unattended.

 

  1. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in advance.

Transfer of dates may be offered at the park’s discretion.

All payments are non-refundable, with the exception of the security deposit.

 

  1. Agreement

By booking the touring caravan, guests confirm they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
